How You Should be Viewing Life

Taking shots like this really opens my perspective on life and how small some things aren’t worthy to fuss over.

Old friendships, small weight gain or loss, useless politicians. You know where i’m going with this. Those little things that may annoy you drastically from day to day. The toxic lust that poisons our minds. How it changes what we do and how we do it.

These things aren’t worthy to fuss over. Let them go! I saw a tweet yesterday along the lines of:

If often baffles me when I see things like this. But then I remember to myself, I use to think like this, too.

Things that aren’t worth fighting over, eventually needs to be let go. Stop wasting precious life time and start being more proactive with it. Go for a run, even if you hate running. Get back into that thing you once loved doing like painting or drawing. Listen to music in your bathtub and get high off of essential oils. (Diffuse those thoughts, boo). There’s no point in putting a ton of energy into someone or something if you feel that you deserve reciprocation, and aren’t getting it. No more guilt trips, just – let it go.

More time for you and less time for others who don’t deserve your precious time. It’s a simple and very giving formula. We have to learn how to love and appreciate ourselves before we can even think about offering help to others. This is something that does take lots of time to grasp if you’re the kind of person to often help others before yourself, like I once use to do religiously.

For stress relief, I recommend doing a hobby you enjoy the most such as art or writing, along with a diffuser and some essential diffuser oils that you can find here for a great price.

I think it’s beautifully ironic how quintessential something can be for people who haven’t seen the internal dilemmas. My picture of this beach for a great example. Many people would see this and say to themselves, “OMG PARADISE TAKE ME THERE, it literally looks perfect!” Yeah, it does look perfect. Looks can often be deceiving, babes (think catfish).

We often forget that places, people and things all have one thing in common. They have problems. Some bigger than others, some smaller, but they all have exactly that in common – problems. I.e. as stated previously, old friendships, places and useless politicians.

The grass is always greener on the other side they say, but the funny thing is; the grass will always be greener on the other side, where you are and however you look at it. Take pride in what you have, cherish it while you have it, and never forget what you can lose. Make your grass green. Or in an islanders case, your ocean blue.MakeYourGrassGreen

The Social Reality of Society

Responsibility is something in which we all eventually hold. Growing up to you might be easy, but for others it might be a little more difficult. This person could have been abused, that person could have lost their mother at birth, this persons rich, that persons poor. We’re all the same deep inside, but why do we treat each other so horribly?

For some people it takes a long time for them to grow up, but because of society, we’ve become accustomed to the indoctrination of the media and it has allowed us to become desensitized because of it. Poor entertainment, inequality, lack of humanitarianism, greed and disgusting wealth distribution rates have conquered our conscious minds and have taken over what seemed to be the reality of society.

ImageThis easily links to our social life and how we treat others. In relationships, we’ve become easily addicted and misunderstood by the word of trust. Eventually though, people wake up and realize what they had after they lost it, but I like to look at it this way: you knew what you had but you never thought you would lose it.ImageMadness is what we seem to demonstrate, and that’s exactly how anger works and operates. Discrimination only generates hate, that’s a fact, so why is that it has become the ‘norm’ in society today? We must take control of our minds to let our souls gravitate. Start appreciating what you have, let go of all negatives in your life and embrace only the positive. Our world in fact is messed up. Nations dropping bombs and children’s lungs filling with chemical gasses, ongoing suffering as the youth die young.

Stress Kills

I just finished my ideology exam today, it was a long two hours.

You know that feeling your eyes get when you’ve been concentrating for so long on something and they just go cross-eyed? It’s like whenever I take a biology or chemistry exam, no problem; but when it comes to a literature arts exam such as English or Socials where critical thinking is the key to success, my brain bogs the hell out.

Not to mention that leftover wait time you must sit through before leaving if you finish early, God that’s the worst – tickticktick.

I strongly believe in personal time, you know; that time you can take to relax for a bit. Go for a walk, exercise, go swimming, breathe. Let go of all the stress for at least five minutes tops. I’m going to the beach with a besty; Kaela in about an hour, gonna sit off, have a few beers, talk and most importantly let go, despite having my last diploma exam on Thursday.

I think one of the key problems in the world today is that everyone has become way too focused on the gas pedal, people do not realize how stressed they are until they sit down and take a break for a second. It’s one of the reasons why I do not want to have kids, could you imagine how much homework they will have?! Just think about it… our parents’ education levels didn’t even come close to competing with the educational standards we have today, with the rise of technology on the continuum, I’m really gonna feel sorry for the next few generations to come. There’s no doubt about it, stress kills. It raises your cholesterol, get’s your blood boiling, and most importantly – lowers your immune system, which can cause lists of different types of cancer and diseases.

So I dare you, go outside and breathe, take a break for just a few minutes and enjoy the brighter side of life.

And don’t forget your beer.
